Methinks that Rand will survive, by the skin of his teeth. Lews Therin will be burnt out of Rand (ie/ die), and Rand will marry Elayne+Aviendah and live happily ever after.
Nope. The last scene of the series will be Aviendha, Elayne and Min standing around his funeral bier, as Min foresaw way back in Book 1. He may be stripped of his powers and have to wander around as a beggar beforehand (also in line with a prophecy), but I think he's going to expire. It would also explain why Jordan hasn't killed off any of the other main characters if he's planning to off the biggest character of them all.
It possible Rand could come back even if he kill at end of last book. Later on in next age in the wheel of time. Stranger things have happen like him having the kinslayer personality in his head. The slate for each person rebirth is suppose to be wipe clean.
