It has been believed in many circles that Enterprise had sounded the death knell on Star Trek. I hoped it wasn't true, although in secret I was doubtful. Now, good news, a new series is under developement, following on from Voyager and DS9 (gak), possibly including some members of both original casts (voy and ds9 casts that is) click here for details. I'll update as info becomes available.

More news: Apparently Enterprise has now ended, 9 episodes into season 4 (anyone surprised?) THe new series is reputed to be Rikers new ship, the one hes assigned at the begining of the Nemises movie.
And a new movie, set in the time of the Romulun war is also being considered.

From that web address it looks like that was 09/99...

And according to startrek.com, there are 16 episodes in Season 4... Where are the other 7???

No mention about it being cancelled or a new series... Weird!!! :D

well, we all know that star trek dot com is such a reliable source of information. the new series details are gossip around cyberspace and conventions. series four was slated to be sixteen episodes, but due to unpopularity it was only shown til ep 9, which was apparently re-edited to tie up the series and let it finish gracefully for those who actually cared:D

They've killed it by pandering to the mass audiences instead of keeping true to rodenberrys vision!
