I spotted this advertised the other day, it looked interesting. Has anyone read any of this authors books? As I have 3 books due to hit the book shops in the next couple of months I don't want to waste my money.

McKinity has a background as a mystery writer. Her reputation in this Genre seems to be quite praiseworthy and the few reviews I've seen for this book are positive.

This is SF and classified as YA.

Apparently it will appeal to lovers of Orson Scott Card's Enders Game or Phillip Pullman's classic His Dark Materials.
