I am not sure if this is the correct place post this, received e-mail tonight as follows.

American horror author and editor *Charles L. Grant* died of a heart attack in front of the television on September 15th, aged 64. He had been suffering from emphysema from some years and had returned to his home in New Jersey to celebrate his birthday and that of his wife of almost twenty-five years, editor and novelist Kathryn Ptacek.

Re: Sad News

Oh, that is very sad news. As one of the few remaining "quiet horror" writers, Grant made quite a niche for himself, telling literate and effectively eerie tales. (I admit to a great fondness for his Oxrun Station, myself.) I'm very saddened to hear about this, but thank you for bringing it to my attention. The man will be sorely missed; and my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

I'll move this to the Horror board.
Hi Brian, being a bit of a newbie I was not sure which section to post it in but knew it would be moved to the appropriate board if it was not correct. Thanks
