I like to kill alot of things
Read this a couple of weeks back, and found it very good. I really liked some of the twists that Feist put in.
But I saw the last bit coming.

Stupid question but did anyone else read it.

yeah i read it but i cant remember much other than its a good book, with decent characters

Is it a follow-on from his previous books, with Pug in it, or a new series altogether?

Same here, had my suspiscions while reading Flight of the night hawks

ive read it recently and it was awesome, yet disappointing atta same time, i wanted the dasati to destroy pug not help him, and im glad The Gardener is back, the last book should be fun.

which title u prefer wrath of a mad god or magician's son?

I've seen both these titles for the next book being banded about the net. I think it's a saga not a trilogy so maybe both titles are correct?

i hope its a saga ad id hate it 2 b a tril, i wldnt mind if it was an open ended tril like CoS tril as it would meen ther was a new 1 2 follow.

do u find that Feist begins the story with a lotta detail but when it comes to the good bits (mainly the end) he rushes it an squeezes em into 1 or 2 chapters

Wrath of a Mad God does sound suspicious. Too much like, Rage of a Demon King, Rise of a Merchant Prince or Shadow of a Dark Queen.
Too similar.... It doesn't set it apart from Serpentwar.
I'm probably wrong (usually am) Flight of the Night Hawks sounds the same as well I guess.

As for ending books or stories too quickly, I don't think he does. Shards of a Broken Crown slowed that whole saga back down again and it's the most 'padded' of his novels (the revised Magician aside) I would have prefered Rage of a Demon King to have been longer and included Shards in it.

ye ther r exceptions but, silverthorn finished quickly, as did darkness. same as the Krondor Series

did any of u like Tear of The Gods? i dint i found it so boring, it took me bout 3 weeks to finish compared 2 2-5 days for the rest

Tear of the Gods wasn't exactly boring (I think I still read it fairly quickly), it just wasn't particularly interesting in any way, and didn't entirely 'feel' like a Midkemia novel (there were vampires in it IIRC which are never mentioned in any other Feist book), it did feel too much like what it was - a computer game novellisation.

the introduction of Vampyr into the novel just ruined it for me because it wasnt his style to do so
