Illustrations and research provided with the cooperation of the CSA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, home of the Mars Exploration Program.
The character of 'Anna Johnson' was based, in part, on real-life Canadian Chief Astronaut Julie Payette, with the permission of the CSA.
