i used a pickaxe handel diferent punch types (hook, uppercut etc) a swinging punching bag (for measurements) and a digital recorder (verify and record measurements) to determine the strenths of different body motions before stiking i tried to keep as best i could my arm motion, arm intensity and the area where i struck the punching bag the same

i made the following list of motions for a hand held weapon in ascending order of strength according to my research (the swing was from my right to my left baseball swing type arc)

stationary - swing
1 step leading leg - swing
1 step following leg - swing
360 spin - swing

i found similar results with basic punches first i concentrated on similar leg motions also in ascending (the puncheses i used were a basic jab, straight, cross, overhand, hook and uppercut)

stationary - punch
1 step leading leg - punch
1 step following leg - punch
360 spin - punch

note it was hard to jab out of a 360 spin

and finally i tested the basic punches against one another with as little leg movement as possible

jab
cross - straight
overhand - uppercut
hook

i did this to better understand the mechanics and strengths of certain strikes
the kicks are pending

wat you guys think
