Well, she did fight rattleshirt first round. He was going down no matter who who he fought.

she's an outstanding fighter, but like was previously said; jamie had his hands tied. you think arthur dayne would had any problems dispatching him?

Ya know Ive read the short stories about Dunk the Lunk and Egg (of whom I take the odd pleasure of being a namesake) and I got to tell ya as GRRM would write it I dont think Brienne would be that easy a victory for the Sword of the Morning.

For those that dont know Brienne is somehow related to Ser Duncan the Tall, a famed commander of the Kingsguard who joined the knighthood through slightly scandalous means but he proved himself against the apex of chivalricdom (I think I made up a word there) in martial combat and managed to achieve victory through size, strength and quite frankly determination...all traits that Brienne has inherited. I honestly feel that as GRRM would write it Brienne would somehow prove the victor.....

That all being said I voted for Arthur Dayne...because thats how I would write it.......

Always a good call TK. I seem to be on the less populated side of most discussions here....so go ahead and be a lemming.

On a serious note, do me a favor and run down to the local Tim Hortons....get me a dozen donuts and mail em to the US Embassy in Pakistan. Thanks

Ha!

I tell you if you ever leave the Middle East and come through Ottawa, it's a date. Except I don't think I would imagine that happening in the winter.

Am a huge Brienne fan, though I dont believe I have advertized it yet, but the second I saw this match up my internal dialogue was : "Can't help you here Brienne".

...Jamie wtih this hands tied was nearly her equal.

Brienne wasn’t 100% either. She had arrows in her back and one in the leg if I’m not mistaken and had pushed extremely heavy rocks and had been rowing a boat for a very long time before they fought. Jaime didn’t spend his entire sentence in the dungeon, but was moved down there after the escape attempt.

Neither could beat Ser Arthur even if they were 100% though. :D
