I have seen precisely no evidence for this, just that his raven is smarter than the other ones and very attached to him. I like the idea mostly because one of the Wildlings said something about it being easier for a beast whose skin has been entered before to be used the same way by someone else, and Bran should fly. We know he can slip into other skins because he nearly had Hodor, and he is at (well, beyond) the Wall...
As I said, no evidence, but a nice idea.

Are you suggesting that Lord Commander Jeor Mormont's soul is still alive in his raven? I don't recall the Old Bear "seeing" through the raven in any way, shape or form. But this would better explain the raven's timing on Jon's election than mere circumstance.

I had attributed that to mere intelligence, but now that you mention it...
Yay! my theory is not totally groundless after all. thank you, Boaz! :) :)

I dont think that mormont was a warg with that raven. But in thinking a little about it it seems to me that this may become a third skin for Jon is he ever develops his talents. If mormont was in fact a warg with this raven though, wouldnt that make the raven an easier skin for Jon to enter. I believe that was true that it was easier to enter the skin of an animal which had already been entered. (i used the word enter way too much there, must buy thesauris.)
