Well, my life is finally settling back into old routines. I have to pay extra money to the scum-suckers known as Mann Bracken in order to keep them off my back, but the rest of my creditors are cheerfully settling with my credit counceling company and leaving me alone.

The result of getting court out of the way means I am finally getting back into writing routines. I turned 52 ten days ago, so of course, I look at life with my usual skewed eyes and go, Oh, hey, still plenty of time to get this or that done.

Have finished editing one collection that is due out next year, and getting another ready and on its way to ye editor.

Am writing new stories, looking over old stories, and submitting stuff left and right again.

Have three books to look forward to next year: WANDERING LARK, the sequel to DRAGON'S TONGUE, BAD LANDS, my gonzo mystery collaboration with Selina Rosen and the aforementioned collection SONG OF SILVER: MORE TALES OF THE HARPER MAGE.

Ooops, that should be FOUR books. Almost forgot that my short novel THE LUNARI MASK will be one half of a "DoubleDog" to be released by Yard Dog Press sometime in 2007.

So hopefully, I can get back out on the web and start socializing the cyber scene again.

Happy belated birthday and good luck for the future - in the immortal words of Jack Black " don't let the man get you down ",

Thanks...

Christmas came and went, and I was in bed most of the time. Alas, the norovirus that is apparently quite popular this year swept through my house like a small epidemic.

Fortunately, we don't seem to have passed it on to the family members my mother insisted had to come over Christmas day...

On the up and up, I see that the online Borders catalog (US at least) is showing my forthcoming novel WANDERING LARK (sequel to DRAGON'S TONGUE) as well as listing the mystery collaboration I wrote with Selina Rosen titled BAD LANDS.

Weird, though, as they say it's out of print, but have the 2007 publication date listed.

Will have to mention that to ye editor.

So life goes on.

Hey, thats great!

Happy late birthday! Its 2007 soon so you can leave anything you don't want to take with you to the new year behind!

Happy to hear that things are sorted with the courts.

Well done with all of the writing, the books to be published and those that have been published. I wish you well...belated birthday greetings also.
