Eastercon will now be held over Easter weekend in Chester, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel £85 for a double or £75 for a single room.

Hi Roy,

I hope we got you all sorted out with the Dealer's info and such.

As Contemplation was only started after Convoy announced their demise (October 31st 2006) it took us a little time to find volunteers to run the various teams and to determine a budget so we'd know how much to ask for dealers tables etc.

But everything is up to speed now, we've got a draft programme up on the website (the redesigned website as of February 1st!) and have dedicated people handling dealers, and art show and all the various other areas of the con, and we look forward to seeing you all in Chester (assuming this doesn't sound too much like an ad for the convention!) at Easter.

Well, I managed to rob Peter to pay Paul and booked both my attendence and hotel room. Just keep your fingers crossed that Central trains don't go on strike over Easter!!!

Damn - was just about to book it, then found out it's exactly when my Mum will be coming up to visit us in Scotland.

I haven't been able to get any conventions to work outside of family commitments recently!
