Arkham Asylum

Hello again old buddy.....

This is a serious house on serious earth. It is but a tale, albeit a dark one, about the dark knight - Batman - and his entering of this place, Arkham Asylum, where many of his enemies now reside, plotting the day when they will rise up and overthrow the world of reason! It is a, as well as being, THE Graphic Novel to own, read and celebrate. Please find a copy, read, digest, enjoy, ponder and rest and then start all over again....

Legend - as doom and despair threaten the Drenai, one man answers the call arms; one man whose reputation alone can turn the tide.....a graphic novel to die for....

Anyway must toodle ooh!!

Take care

I have this.I bought it back when it first came out. Though I haven't read it in awhile. I still have the poster on my wall, though. It's a surreal masterpiece.

I love it. I just read it and I thought it was amazing. I love Batman though so I might be a bit biased. Love it.

I thought it was very good, very surreal and original way of portraying a comic. its probably the most gruesome Batman graphic Novel available.

I know! I'm not sure how you guys do SPOILERS so I'll just say my next sentences have a few ;)
So yeah it really was dark. The part that kinda got me was Two Face peeing himself because of the Tarot Cards. That scene however, made the last page all the better.
SPOILERS OVER: I liked it and I'd recommend it to others. Enjoy!!!;)

Yeah I read it recently-it was definately different from your average Batman GN but it was still good.It had a wierd sort of atmosphere. The artwork is probably the best thing about the comic cause it compliments the psychologically heavy story. Its a unique style of art that you dont see in many comics-the only other example of sumthing like it that ive seen was the metal gear solid graphic novel

Yeah, I would def. agree that the artwork complements the heavy psych feel the Graphic Novel has. I bought it mainly because of the art work, or rather that is what caught my attention.

I love batman! he rocks so super badass, plus i like the whole dark feeling to the comics, you cant spell gotham without goth! im definetely gona check out the Asylum one! ps. DARK KNIGHT, cool avatar, snake rocks! XD

Just read Arkham Asylum. It's good. The art work makes it so much more insane and I like the section at the end where it's written in a sort of script form, explaining what's needed. Gives you a peek into the mind of the writer.

Have always liked the darkness and angst in Batman and his odd relationship with the Joker so this comic was something I really enjoyed reading. And they let him leave in the end. How very curious.

Have been looking to buy Legend for a while now but it's not showed up in any of the stores here. :(

Arkham Asylum, loved it. A dark insight into the Dark Knight. It actually touches on several of the member's of the Rogue's Gallery. Very interesting, and the art was pretty interestig as well.. Albeit, the art was dark and pretty sinister. The Joker in particular.

A Serious House On Serious Earth is magnificent. It provides a path into the psychopaths mind that keep the asylum alive. Oh how'd love the have Batman for tea and biscuits. Joker proved more instable than before, if possible, and Harvey Dent.....mmm... magni-f-icent!! Zeus had a peculiar therapy though, could anyone please remind me what it was?
