Adventure Books
Adventure Books' latest release is the story of a risky first mission to Mars.
'The 13th Day of Christmas' is based on conflict, with a stubborn American mission commander pitted against a strong woman whose job it is to get them all safely to the surface of the Red Planet.
Two men and one woman roll the dice in the biggest gamble ever attempted in space exploration.
Main character 'Anna Johnson' was partially based on real-life Canadian Chief Astronaut Julie Payette, with the permission of the Canadian Space Agency. Copies of '13th Day' went to the libraries of the John H. Chapman Space Centre and to Ms. Payette.
'13th Day' is illustrated with more than 25 high-resolution images obtained through the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA sources.
