Question 1. What is it for?

Question 2. What do you do if, for example, he suddenly finds himself in the plot talking to his brother, or sister?

I'm not trying to demean the value or worth of this kind of preperation, just that you need to remember not to write any of these things in stone. (It's painful on the wrists and you end up with blisters)

If this kind of exercise helps then go on with it but don't forget to write too.

Question 1. What is it for?

The character is the MC for my wip, a sci fi novel I'm currently prepping for starting in January (prologue not included, ahem)

Question 2. What do you do if, for example, he suddenly finds himself in the plot talking to his brother, or sister?

Um, he won't because a) he has no siblings,, and b) second half of the novel he's not in his own timeline anyhoo.

just that you need to remember not to write any of these things in stone. (It's painful on the wrists and you end up with blisters)

*gigglesnort* Yeeees.
