I've been working on a SF story which centers on a mining operation located in a nebula. The nebula consists of a brown dwarf star, around which belts of asteroids, and a great deal of debris and dust revolve.
Does this truly constitute a nebula? Is there a specific definition or term for a body like this?
I can make changes, if need be. A dfiferent kind of star, for instance.
Thanks, in advance.
