looking for education on punctuation. websites. if i could find exercises that would be great.
 
Probably the quickest and easiest way: get an unabridged dictionary. Look in it before purchase; they generally have a "Basic Manual of Style" that goes over such points as punctuation, division of words, abbreviations, capitalization, use of italics, etc. If you can find a recent one used, even better (preferred rules of writing don't necessarily change rapidly, but they do change; compare, for instance, the precise usage of the eighteenth century, with its -- to us -- excessive use of the comma, which came from the fact that written forms are based on oral forms, and such things represented the pause or caesura of speaking... something no longer in use today; so a recent manual is much better than an older one for most forms of writing).
