David Tennant hosts Friday Night Project - in drag

Oh how I loved this show... he was magnificent... of course it helps that I totally have a teenage crush on him!!! :p

I thought he was very funny and a great personality, that's the first time I think I've seen him being interviewed or any such thing and he came across really well! The bit with him in drag cracked me up!

xx

Shame I missed it! Love him as a bloke - awful as a woman (too skinny by far)

Not the first time that DT has been on telly in drag. Mighty Mouse, you might like to see him as a brunette. Check out the pics on Rab C. Nesbitt [1990-1999]

Yes, I agree though, his comedic personality shone through. Very funny bloke is old 'Ten Inch'! It does help that he is prety attractive as well. Having heard him in the Virgin Radio Xmas Panto, I knew that he was game for a laugh anyway. Good to see him doing a short spot in a panto on FNP as well.

Lets hope he does more stuff like this.

He actually is very attractive, isn't he?

Ah, David Tennant...*Wistful sigh*

I've loved him since I saw him in Casanova. I think he's a brilliant actor (even if he is a bit shouty as the Doctor (but he's still my favourite Doctor!)) and The Friday Night Project showed him to be a very witty and friendly guy. And I admit, I have never seen that programme before, but when I heard that he would be guest hosting it, wild horses couldn't drag me from the TV! :D

I first saw David Tennant in the Rab C Nesbitt episode in the link. Next time I saw him was the Quatermass Experiment on BBC4, but I have to admit that I missed most of Casanova. Hope the Beeb repeats it!

The interesting thing (or maybe not) is that he was born and used to live not far from where I live. My stomping grounds were once his - not much of a connection, but better than none.

I'm so envious...can you turf up a bit of the ground and send it to me? Then I can worship the ground on which he walked!

Casanova was brilliant, I would love to see it repeated, I'd definitely watch it again.

^_^

Agreed, Casanova was one of the best bits of tele I've seen in the past couple of years, it was brilliant, very tongue in cheek but acted wonderfully by all the cast! Russell T Davies did a great job with the writing!

It was repeated on BBC Three a couple of times (via the red-button service at least once), not sure if they'll repeat it again but I think it's going to be or is available on DVD... not sure though, you'll have to check that one out.. might just be a rumour I heard.

xx

Agreed Casanova was brilliant........

See Tennant's been named as one of the most influential people in this years list......?
