Its Jan2007....Have we got a clear date for Adwd?

GRRM hasn't finished writing it yet and it would take at least 6 months to go through the publishing process. Check his site regularly, he said he would be the one to announce when its done and to not believe any of the websites or gossip-mongers. Still, at least we know its not a 4 year wait like last time

February? No. I understand he hopes to finish it by the end of February, but it would be 5 months later it came out in the UK and a month later it emerges in the USA. If he goes much over the end-of-February release date then it's more likely that the book could get held back for the Christmas market, making October-November a more likely release date

I just looked at his not a blog section and it said there is a big announcement coming up, hopefully that will give us an idea about the date. I really hope its not some unrelated thing, there have been too many of those.
