No not trolled, seriously GRRM never actually confirms his death and he has a habit of not letting anyone get 1/2 a page worth of mention without pursuing him or she a bit more... Might make a useful plot device for Victarion... stoleaway on his little fleet who knows lol.

Who here thinks he's still alive or is he too puny to bother with?
 
I can't remember him clearly. Probably you can tell us where in the books
he is mentioned.
There are certainly a lot of characters in ASoIaF that appear to be really
interesting and are worth to be mentioned again. But there are already
so many characters that it would get way too complicated.

Fight for the shields. He is the young lord in full armor whose been trown over the ship fense by Victarion.
 
so Martin has already confirmed the existence of an upcoming character "the mummer knight" i think this is a transformation of tyrion. it has already been mentioned that most dwarfs act as mummers, and he has already displayed hes agaility to jon snow. from the updates we know that tyrion will meet dany. my hope is that he joins her he becomes a dragon rider who has to dress in motely to disguise himself from the people of westeros that hate him. any other thoughts?
 
I haven't heard of this...Werthead is shirking his duties as the "inside man" it seems :D

The Mummer Knight. Sounds a little lame but I'll reflect on it. The Hound perhaps considering his hatred for knights.

i always thought it related to the a dragon mummer, you know one of those dolks coming to meet dany
 
Mummers are basically circus performers, right?
Also disguise artists or whatever. Pyp is often compared to mummers with his mimicking abilities but I doubt he'd leave the wall/become a knight.
Tyrion has shown his (lack) of martial skills during the 2 battles he's been in, but he seems a good shot with a crossbow so maybe it's not as ridiculous as it sounds.
I think it'll be a new character though, as GRRM seems to enjoy killing off his existing ones rather than transforming them :)
 
In the book before AFFC, Dany gets a vision where folks are coming to meet here. The Kraken, the Lion, .... i think one of them was a mummers dragon hence i think the connection to the mummers knight.

Can you post the whole citation please? I have some thoughts about that visions which I want to share with u but I don't have original books. If I try to translate back to English it will be pretty funny:)

I was wrong, Dany her vision comes in aDwD, it was in a preview.

Is that from when Dany goes to meet those freaks in one of the cities and then she has to escape and burns the place down????

uh no that was not with bluemouthed wizards, it is from a sample chapter from aDwD wich isnt realeased yet, as where you can find it, well, perhaps you can ask it on asoiaf.westeros.org cause i dont know anymore printed it out almost half a year ago i guess it is now

:eek: I apologies for my hostility, but I didn’t read that chapter….so… you understand me…:( don’t you?
:confused: If somebody finds this sample chapter or any other sample chapters from DwD I would be grateful if he posts it in this forum. I know that my good friend Kiwi will scan that pages and mail them to us if there is nobody who knows where that chapter can be find.
