1 day left on ebay! 23/01/07

Oooh...

I would bid, but I already have about half of them...unless I buy them cheaply now, and then sell the ones I already have...:D

Aw, no way. Signed one! Argh.

I keep buying new Pratchett books but don't have the time to read them yet...but it's nice just to watch the set grow, knowing that soon I'll just sit down and not move for three days until I've read them all :D

Oh it's great fun Hoopy my sons girlfriend has lent me 17 TPs....so I'm living in Discworld at the moment.

Would love to buy that collection but with xmas just gone.....broke

And the bidding is over at £102 by a friend at work. Congrats to him and good luck to him in the barricading in of his room and the reading of all of them :p including postage that works out at about £4 a book.

Damnit...that's a damned good price for all those books. Sigh, I'll have to keep waiting for the 3 for 2 offer to come back to Waterstones...

I've made him promise to lend me all the ones i haven't read for a while :p
It was a "last 10 seconds" bid. Of the most snipery variety.

I should have gone for them myself, he just got offered 10% off (£10 hidden inside one of the books) because the guy selling them didnt expect to get so much!

Well, I introduced him to Pratchett, so I do feel a bit satisfied about that :p

Joel, honestly I don't think £4 a book is a good deal, they are used books after all. There were sales on Play not long ago offering £5 per discworld books, brand new and free delivery.

Well it only got up to £4 because that's how high the bidding went...if there had been less bids, then I guess they would've been a lot cheaper.

Yeah, that's the thing with ebay. I gave up many biddings because they started low and went sky high. Sometimes I found the some bidders keep bidding on top of themselves, makes you wonder....

Yes, I've never Ebayed in my life...I prefer to get them new and shiny and straight away, rather than waiting for bidding to end.
