Looks like I may be able to arrange an interview with Peter Jurasik, the actor who played Londo Mollari.

Got an email from him tonight, so if all goes ahead, would like to see if I can get a couple of questions from chronicles members in.

Be quick, though - I can't keep him waiting for too long. The Centauri don't enjoy that sort of thing. ;)

<--- this is me going insane from jealousy

Let's see...a question...erm... crud, this is what happens when you've only seen two seasons of B5! I love (and hate) Londo. He's such a complex and fascinating char. I pity him most of the time and hate him the rest...

Erm... Ooh, I know:

Since the beginning, Londo has "known" how he was going to die (at the hands of G'Kar) how does this affect how you [Peter Jurassik] play Londo considering he has this knowledge?

How's that? :)

Well, speaking of things that might have affected how he played Londo, how much of the twists and turns of the character did he know in advance?

I'd like to know what his current projects are (if he's allowed to talk about them). For such an experienced character actor, he's not done that much in the last few years. I understand he's to be involved in the upcoming Lost Tales anthology of course.

Other than that, here's a few more:

Q: After your foray into the world of literature (Diplomatic Act with William H. Keith) do you have any inclination to take up the quill yourself? :)

Q: You have performed on stage, done TV shows & movies. Is there a performance/show you're particularly fond of or thought was your best work to date?

Q: What's the single best piece of advice you've been given and what advice would you give to young actors starting out?

I haven't seen any definite info on who's involved in the Lost Tales project, apart from Bruce Boxleitner, Peter Woodward and Tracy Scoggings. So my question is:
Q: Will we see Londo Mollari in the Babylon 5: Lost Tales movies?
If so, how does reprising Mollari's role make you feel? (Londo's a fantastic character and I'd love to see him again.)

Geez, I didn't realise he's co-authored with Bill Keith - he's something of a online friend. Will definitely ask about that. :)

Also, great questions overall - I'll set something up and email Peter this weekend.

Something about Andreas Katsulas RIP, say his favourite scene with him or any memories. The G'Kar/Londo relationship was IMHO the best thing in the entire series.

Q: Which character, other than Londo, would he like to have played?

Q: What did he base that fantastic Centauri accent on?

Q: Looking back on the show, what was his favourate season?

Q: Does he get much time to watch the current crop of space based TV series? If so, which is his favourate?

Q: How many of Londo's foibles came from JMS, and how much was Peter's own suggestion?

Q: Of all the characters he's played in his career which was his favourate and least favourate?

I'll try to think of some more.

Whatever happened with the interview? I looked for the answers to questions posed for Peter Jurasik; I didn't find anything that looked like it had answers. I also wondered if anyone here ever saw a movie PJ was in named: "Huck and the King of Hearts"? Not top box office, I suppose, but it was a great movie.

He's a great actor, I wonder why he hasn't been in anything else.

He has. He was in Tron (with Bruce Boxleitner) and was a semi-regular in Hill Street Blues. However, I think he was mostly a stage actor.
