Cyril, Urial, elementals?

Hello, all.. would really appreciate your help with this. I'm trying to remember the title and author of a fantasy/adventrue series I first read about 10 years ago. The characters included a blind man who was a swordmaster, a woman whose abilities I forget, a girl who had psychic powers, and a boy who was initially a 'firebrand' or 'firestarter'(?) but was later found to be able to summon all elementals, not just fire. There was an older mage-type character named Cyril who guided them and a god of light named Urial. In the second book they went into some sort of underground or mountainous realm. At the end of that book (not sure if it was two or three books in the series), the group is killed by the evil they confront, but somehow they summon Urial at the very end and are resurrected. Please tell me someone else has read this and knows the names! Thanks.

This will be the most excellent "Blade of the Poisoner" and "Master of Fiends" books by Douglas Hill.
Oh, and the woman was called Archer and used telekinesis and the lord of light was called Iridial
