Creative rhyming

It was something we did in an English lesson last year. You wouldn't believe how many cynical poems there were. Even our teacher wrote one about being down in love and, ahem, his hand.

Anyway... your go!
 
Ahem....

Someone we ain't seen for a while,
Rosem'ry's inimitable style...
 
with a smile as wide as a mile!

There once was a Roman from Rome
who burnt down his only true home

Now, our Mister Worthington can
Seem to be a good Limerick man
But when he finds " pome"
Is a good rhyme for "Rome"
It's time to consider a ban!

And here I thought that was a rather nice pun... a "pome" rather than a "poem" seemed to fit what I was doing, don't you think?:p
 
Now Pyan's the kind of a bloke
Who gets on quite well with most folk
So he'd say to j d,
" Oh, don't listen to me -
In fact, I'm quite sorry I spoke!"
 
Usual rules:

The dragon called Hoops was quite bored
Tired of lying all day on her hoard...
 
I'm so bored on my hoard! Oh, good lord!

Py heard Hoopy's plea for some fun
(for she'd got up preceding the Sun!)...
 
"We'll start with some tea and a bun!"

And creates something quite super-doopy! (ha! Ooh yeah, brilliant rhyming skills from Hoops there! )
