Need Info On a book i read

Hi can anyone help me with a problem

I have been trying to think of a book I read when I was at school which was late 80`s to early 90`s . I think it is called SpellBound or something like that .

I only remember vague things about it and just remember it was quite a good fantasy where a kid was a apprentice to a powerfully wizard .

Any info on where I can find this book or the author would be appreciated .

Now, if you could describe the wizard, it could be spellsinger??

you could be right Tech, Spellsinger by Allen Dean Foster the only one that came to my mind was Magician I have not read Spellsinger in a long time

Spellsinger isn't right I don't think as he's not an apprentice or a kid, and the wizard was a turtle, that's probably something he would have remembered.

Sorry guys....I have been thinking about this for ages and am 95% sure it was called Spellbound but cant for the life of me remember much else .( which is why it will be good to read again ).

Any ideas on the best place to look for titles of books?

You could go to your local library and ask at the information desk. That would be one place to start. They should have copies of "Books In Print", and they may have access to other libraries' catalogues through interlibrary loan services.

Hey there M4tt. Just wondering if you found this book title you were looking for....I have someone working on it, as I've been looking myself for years... he owns the book. If I'm right it is about a college boy named Tom sitting in his room smoking a joint and the next minute he wakes in a strange forest, to make it short the turtle who conjuired him up has drawers in bellies to hold all his spells.He calls in help from his world and gets the girl that he likes... Tom is to help their world with the use of his guitar to create his spells......I could go on but is this the book you were looking for.....if so my fav part was when they all went to see the spiders in the mountians... or the bar seen with the rat who is to help him travel in the towns they are passing through.....well let me know if you have title and the author...I thought the name of the book was the spellbinder...
