Who is your favourite character from any of Anne McCaffrey's novels?

I find it difficult to limit my favourites to just one. I think Piemur has always been a favourite, as well as Menolly (in the earlier books). Out of the dragonriders I always like T'Gellan for his humour, and from the crafts I liked Iantine, probably because he's an artist, too.

Never much liked Menolly myself. There are no McCaffrey characters that are part of my favorite characters but I suppose if I had to chose a favorite from her books I'd go with Moreta, Tenna and Sorka. I love the dragons for the most part, especially those who get cheeky with their riders :)

Don't much like the characters from the Harper Hall, I find them pretty bland.

I've always had a soft spot for F'nor, on brown Canth. I think they had a raw deal, always being overshadowed by F'lar on bronze Mnementh, and I still think Canth should been allowed to try a mating flight with a queen.

F'nor with brown Canth. That dragon has the biggest heart and I always wished they had a bigger role to play in the books.

You mean apart from being the first dragon to try to fly to the Red Star?

I used to like Killishandra Ree as well - but I got so sick of hearty legumes.....

From the Pern books, it would be Masterharper Robinton (by a long, long margin), although Menolly would be second. From the tower books, I'd pick Afra as well. He is just so considerate, and kind, and just about perfect!

i know, call me typical, i'm in love with F'lar! Second, would have to be Robinton, and if we're counting dragons, Ruth. i Haven't read any other novels by Anne, but i'm thinking of starting with the Tower series, every other McCaffrey fan recommends them to me!

I've only read the Pern Series so far but my favourite characters are first Masterharper Robinton I like how he knows and controls practically everthing, of course Lessa for her I know everything and i'm right attitude because it reflects my own. From the older times i always liked Sean and Sorka.

I could never really get into the Pern series, maybe the upcoming film may inspire me to try again.
I've only read the Pegasus/Tower/Crystal Singer books.
So for me it's Peter Reidinger as Killshandra Ree started off promisingly but became boring towards the end.
