It comes to something when my post on last weeks episode has no replies. I think it shows how far 'Stargate' has fallen now. Once upon a time there would already be three pages of replies, even though the Sky One schedule is ahead of the US.
I'm sure that somewhere this weeks episode had some allegorical moral high ground about the politics of dealing with terrorists and factions, but it went over me. Otherwise it was a standard serving, and a little less than the last few episodes.
After barely surviving the bombing massacre of a peaceful Jaffa summit, Teal'c must go rogue to track down and stop a Jaffa leader named Arkad, who plans to take control of the Jaffa nation and deliver them to the Ori. Meanwhile, Stargate command receives intelligence that suggests Arkad is also behind a series of plots to bomb Earth, forcing SG-1 to decide between the life of their friend and the lives of millions at risk should the bombings succeed.
I wondered where I had seen Craig Fairbrass (Arkad) before. He used to be in 'Eastenders'. His accent really stood out among all the American ones and seemed a little strange to me. I don't know why as I don't have the same problem with Claudia Black - maybe her Australian accent is just not as strong.
Is it me, or has Lexa Doig been absent for some time. She turns up again this week but has no scenes with Landry. I wondered why she didn't appear in the alternate universe episode. I would have expected the President's daughter to have made some appearance.
