I love this picture, It's a good wallpaper for your computer.

I might have posted this on the wrong thread, but if I did then I didn't mean to.

I could never get into this series..
I think I'm just sorta sick of seeing Rumiko Takashi's stuff for so long.

I used to favor Sesshoumaru, but looking back, I'd have to say the lovable antics of a certain sukebe have won me over. Yes, I'm talking about the one and only furyou houshi, Miroku. (Actually, I'm sure there are plenty of other "furyou houshi" in the wide world, but Kazaana boy here takes the cake.)

While the perversion of the lead male in Takahashi's stories has steadily declined over the years, she portrays the type so well that it had to come up somewhere. (Miroku's "Watashi no ko o unde kudasaran ka?" definitely trumps Ataru's "Jusho to denwa bango?", but who can top a pickup line like that?) If Takahashi wanted to go with the sukebe lead like she did with UY, imagine how different the story would be. "Sengoku Otogi Zoushi Miroku Houshi!" ^o^

The first couple seasons were well done, but it is a shame that there was no resolution in neither the manga or the anime. I refuse to give the character Inuyasha his supposed due since he never ended up making the romantic, paramount decision that was demanded of his character.

Did they ever unite the jewel? I stopped watching after 60 or so episodes. It seemed sort of pointless. That story took too many steps back.

Uh...is there anyway I could vote for onigumo specifically?

Nope. They never unite the jewel; therefore, the quest for the fragments is eternal. I agree with you. It is hard to care about any later developments in the storyline when the viewer had the sneaking suspicion that the episode following will not even acknowledge it and two episodes from that point will completely undo it.

It is a shame, though. I believe it is season five when the series really starts to have some fun episodes and is obviously comfortable with itself. If one can abandon the concept of an ultimate resolution, there are some truly clever episodes throughout the whole series.

I voted for Inuyasha simply cause he is alright and cool when needed to be. The other except the priest is uninteresting.

I watched the first 50 eps but then it got repetic and still the end isnt in sight so i have no need to get back to it until the day it ends and i will give it a chance again.

A friend of mine burned cds with the first 150 eps of the anime so i still have the anime.

What a let down. Whelp, there's another anime to scratch off any list I may have made. I tell ya, they've been dropp'n like flies these last couple years.

This is true.
