(Found) Title and Author of a book, please

Greetings

I am searching for the title and author of a sci fi book about armegheddon and making building robots to fight the devil's minions, the robots win, and God returns and takes all the robots to heaven. I read it years and years ago but can't remember the name or author for the life of me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
