Except Bram Stoker is Irish.

Patrick Brontë, was born in Loughbrickland, County Down, Ireland as as Patrick Prunty.
For more than 40 years I've been passing the Brontë Homestead sign near Banbridge Co. Down on Belfast - Dublin road.

No "Dean Swift"? He had a Church (now ruined) near Killroot in Co. Antrim.

Yeah. Where is Dickens? Mind you, they have also put Oscar Wilde in London. Could be Oxford or Reading, I suppose.

I'm weeping. It's such a small thing - they have John Hewitt in completely the wrong area of Northern Ireland. Which seems small but he's known as the poet of the glens, he has a cairn and a memorial on the north coast of the glens (I've been there, I climbed a massive hill for half an hour to see it. Voluntarily.) to see him transplanted from where he loved and captured so well makes me want to weep. I'll accept cake... :D

Edit! And then @hitmouse's second one had him In closer to the right place. Huzzah! Saved! (i'll still take cake. :D)

Edit again - and Yeats is nowhere near Sligo...
