Has anyone come across a book called 'The Key to Chintak' by John Howard? I ask after having been sucked into a discussion on a blog about this title. Me And My Big Mouth: The Bestseller You Probably Haven't Heard About

As a self published venture, this is probably the most impressive success story I've come across in the UK. I've had a bit of dialogue with the author and am now intrigued to see if anyone here has heard of it, or even read it? Comments anyone?

the author came into our school and he talked and joked a lot which was great fun. lot of my friends got the book and we all think it is great. my big brother has read it to and he really likes it. this is a big thing as he does not read very much.

Welcome to Chronicles, Emily. I've heard quite a bit about John's visits to schools. It sounds as if he has a lot of charisma. I've also heard that a great number of young people like his work, so he must have put together something special. I chatted to him via email the other day and he tells me he wrote the first draft of the story when he was 10 years old. I could hardly hold a pen when I was 10, so I imagine he has something of an instinct for writing. I'm looking forward to getting hold of a copy of The Key to Chintak. It sounds most intriguing. :)
