Once again, Life, the Universe and pretty much everything else tries to interfere.
Had to drive to Atlanta on personal business last weekend.
Was sick the week before.
And now I am trying to get ready for a convention this weekend, and my mother--forgetting that I was leaving Friday--chose to run off for a short vacation that will not have her back before late Saturday.
The poor cat will be in hysterics being left with only my stepfather to look after him.
And I dread finding out what a mess the stepfather will make of the kitchen in that 48 hours before her return.
