I have a nibble from a publisher concerning a modern fantasy novel set in my native backyard, so of course, I am furiously trying to get that into ship shape before I ship it off (with fingers crossed).
Okay, I know, I have books in print.
Still, it is never a sure thing even when one does (sorry if that bursts any bubbles, but it's a business that is in continual flux). So of course I worry and fret any time a publisher says, "Sure, send it to me..."
