If I told you that there was someone who has been plucked from the slush pile, not once ... not twice ... but three times, writing under different names in different genres, would you want to ask them any questions? If so, then you might want to take a look at the interviews board. Amanda Hemingway has done just that and she's going to drop by to try to answer your questions, either about her work, or more generally about writing. That does assume, of course, that anyone has any questions they want to ask!

Hmm! Do I sense some reluctance here? Did I address the right people? I must admit that I thought there would be at least a little more curiosity in the minds of those looking to see their creative works in print.

Spot on, Patrick. Posting on the Interview thread was the intention. I've now emailed Amanda to prompt her into paying her first visit. Once she's in, we'll have to work at not letting her out again! She's got so much experience of the UK market, it would be a shame not to utilise it fully.
