LOL! I don't believe it... I simply don't believe it!

Gotta give it to 'em... they did a beautiful job on this. (If only they'd been able to figure out how to make that dimensional link in the rear compartments so you'd have a bit of Oz ... among other things....):D

Amazing...... Um, Pyan... speaking of having too much time... How did you come across this one?....:p

Gay has wings; variable geometry wings (wings swept back to hypersonic, etc) but perhaps, as a roadable, they retract completely (good for parking, but inefficient for internal storage)
I can't convince myself that she looks like that. (mind you, the cover of my "number of the beast" is all wrong, too)

Check through the link, chris - the wings are retracted in the posted shot.
I tell you, the builder is a fanatic - he went through not only The Number Of The Beast, but also The Cat Who.. and To Sail..., and picked out every bit of discription of GD that he could find, and tried to get it in the model.:p

Well, with that kind of a mentality, I'm glad he found something to do. I shudder to think what he'll do now it's finished.

Not my vision, either ... my mind saw something like a station wagon or minivan (though I read TNoTB well before the era of minivans) with wings ... sort of a cross between a tiny airplane and a station wagon.

I saw the "rest room" doors as being things one had to crawl through.

Remember the original world/time was not very much different from our world of the late 1970s ... nothing too hi-tech. Gay wasn't standard issue, but a standard aircar extensively tweaked by Zeb. And she wasn't very smart, to begin with.

Just keep him away from the chem labs... or the rubber bands... or tin foil.... or.......

It can fly, it can go on the road, The Gay Deceiver sounds to me as if it's a supped-up version of Gerry Anderson's Supercar!!!
Oh boy, now I'm showing my age!!!
