Okay, now you've done it... There are some on there I was not aware of...

*Checks empty wallet*

Guess I'll have to go cup in hand to see the Bank Manager - "Please, sir, I want some more"...

Well, if you're talking about the legends of the Riftwar series, be aware that it's not available in the US. I'm not sure where you're from, The Master, but the best way to get them is over Amazon.co.uk, as far as I can tell. I found out about the series when I was in London a few years ago and looking around in a bookstore to kill some time before dinner reservations, and found a Feist book I'd never seen before, and was puzzled, because I thought I'd had them all. I later found out that it was an argument with publishers that prevented their release in the US.

The riftwar series is great. We have it over in australia and its a good read, worth ordering.

Are the other riftwar series sequals to the first?

I have started reading Magician Apprentice which is the first time i read REF so far i like it and was wondering if it was longer than the first series.

He is the first fantasy writer i have read and liked after my first and fav Gemmell. Its good to know there are others that i can like reading. After Hobb i started doubting that.....

Yes, they are. "Faeries Tale" is the only book not connected to the Riftwar books.

The list is a bit out of date now, there is a new book "Into A Dark Realm" that has also been published, there was a Feist story (called "The Messenger") in the Legends 2 anthology as well as Legends 1. Also, despite what a previous post said I believe the "Legends of the Riftwar" series is now being published in America.

Cant someone update it? To a REF newbie its not much help.

I have most of the books. I read one random book out of the Serpent War and was hooked, so I went and ordered them all from my book store. They know me by name in there - every single one of them. Which I suppose, is either mortally shameful or highly amusing. Meh. Still have a couple to collect. I'm waiting til I have them all though to read them. There's nothing worse than reading a great book, getting really into it, and have it end on a cliffhanger, without having the sequel. lol.

how much difference is the updated Magician thats in 1 book to the 1 in 2 books

Next to nothing, i would expect. Its just another way of selling his best book. An American idea i think so you'd still expect it to be in one book than in Two in Australia

yeah on the back it say this revised edition was prepared by the autor to celebrate the 10th annerversery of the 1st publiccation, and incorparates over 15,000 words from omitted previous editions

i've read both editions and there's only very slight word changes across the entire book

3. Wrath of a Mad God (Oct 2007)

Thought it was coming out March 2008.
'Tis what it says on the Crydee site

It is coming out in March, but was originally supposed to come out in October...then came the publishing problems
