The World of Arasarion - My Creation

Heey guys, I am new on this forum. I have created a world called Arasarion where my story takes part. I have created a guide for this world. Originaly it was made in Dutch but I wanted to show it to you all for some critique and I have translated it to English, so there may be some strange words.

NOTES:

- The idea of the Colossus' was made very quickly and may not be very clear. Maybe someone has ideas for them
- Also the gods were made very quickly. This is only the basis and the names are temporarily...until i think of new ones.
- The name of CHI in the Magic System is also temporarily, can't find a good name for it.

If there are grammar mistakes in this post or in the guide, I'm sorry for that.

Hi Mammon,

I found your world really interesting, and I'd love to read more of it. I jotted down a few questions as I read your guide, which I hope will help you to expand it a bit - I understand that it's incomplete though!

Firstly, the guide seems written almost from the perspective of an Arasarion scholar. Is the guide something that exists in the world of Arasarion? If so, who wrote it, and why? I quite enjoyed the tone of the guide, as well as the quotations of fictional scholars.

Reading about the Avantrazian people, it seemed almost that they were a perfect people. They're powerful, wise and magical. Other than their diminished numbers, do they have other weaknesses? What are their temperaments like? Are they susceptible to certain diseases? Do certain materials neuter their powers?

I was also curious as to the systems of government in Arasarion. Are all the different peoples part of one nation, or are there many? If so, who rules each people? Who regulates the Healers, Guardians, Weavers and Magicians? Is there any possibility of a Healer doing the work of a Guardian, or a Magician doing the work of a Weaver, etc., or are the magic-users restricted to their own field? If this is the case, what restricts them? I'd be really interested in reading more about the training of the magic-users, too. Do magic-users - for example, Guardians, who seem a bit like magical police - work alongside non-magic-users?

On the subject of magic, why can only Avantrazians and Necromadians use magic? Is it something to do with their origins as different species? What are the origins of all the different species - evolution? Creation by the gods/some other mystical force? Did they come through different dimensional gateways or something like that? I think you could write a little more about the dimensional gateways, too. Is travel allowed between them? Why do they need defending by the gods? And how are the gods worshipped? Do different peoples worship different gods and goddesses? Are there priests and priestesses, or certain rituals?

I don't think I've ever written so many question marks in one post. I just threw out whatever ideas I got while reading through the guide. I hope this helps - looking forward to reading more!
