Number Of The Beast??

I'm no mathematician...I tried reading it twice and just can't get through it! Can anybody put it in layman's terms?

it is really confusining for those of us who did not pass high school calc.

Heinlein changes hiss theorys about the # mid-book too, that was real confusing.

I loved the way he incorperated Oz and Barsoom (no real Barsoon) but he made his names out of Edgar Rice Burroughs' book. loved the beginging too, "after a Tango like that, a couple should get married"..."OK"

It is one of my favorite RAH books, the characters outside of Hilda are well written, and Deety is constantly saying things and then saying something like 'I do' or 'I am'. the inclusion of other authors characters and settings are what make the book funny.

I can only understand it because of the description in Number of the Beast
