Do any of u's rekon there will be a live action movie of DBZ or do u rekon it would ruin the franchise

Ruin the franchise? I think it's already done that by itself..
All the movie would be about is..
Good guys learn to master their powers..
Evil bad guys show up..
They Fight and Yell/grunt.
Looks grim for the bad guy..
BUT WAIT.. He hasn't shown his super secret hidden ultra power yet.
They fight more and the good guy loses.
He trains get to stronger.. they have a rematch and hero releaves his super secret hidden ultra power.
Good guy win by shoving his fist thru the bad guys stomach.

I've pretty much summed all of dbz.

well it could be good or it could be bad i heard they were goping to make one but they scrapped the idea

well yes u did summ it all up but dragon ball rocked ok g.t was good and z was medoker at best

and the games kik alot of ass

There was an unofficial one so awesome in it's awfulness it must surely be in my top 10 fav films.

I have actually seen that one, and it is certainly bad. Not even Cult bad.

It is a Japanese film, and, although I have not done any research on the subject, I don't believe it is considered unofficial....although, surely, the franchise wouldn't mind passing it off as such.

It's Chinese not Japanese notice how all the names in the cast are well Chinese! You can even buy the Chinese version on VCD. The fact that no copyright or liscencing information appears ( Toriyama insists he is credited for DBZ creation) on the DVD, and the fact it's still being sold dispite Fox still having like action rights says it's unofficial.

Oh, you are right. I stand corrected. I am a bit too naive because I didn't think an Asian cable channel would run an unofficial DBZ live action film (that is where I viewed it), but, really, there is no Santa Claus.

It's very common actually! Since China and Taiwan have very off copy right laws.

Also no worries DBZ is my favourite topic of discussion, full stop!

At first, I was not impressed by DBZ, but that was because I was thrown into the middle of the Buu saga. I didn't know the characters who were being transformed into bars of chocolate and eaten from Adam. Thankfully, I was pulled aside and had the opporunity to watch from the very beginning of DBZ. I can't get enough of it. :D

I saw DBZ from the first episode of the original run, so have seen all the edited dub and lived through all that nonsense. Am now making do with the box sets.

I salute hiffle, since it's a great word that I use often and have gotten into at least one audio drama.

I think a live action DBZ would be awful,
If they spent years working on a very well done CG, or very well animated Film however, I believe it would work!
