STARGATE seems to represent man against the forms of being that exist, the groundwork for the establishment of a mythos. Anyway, they did a recent show saying that they do have mythologies included in their series. I'll be tuning in tomorrow night to see what their series presently will be representing.

Hi, John.

Right now, Stargate is airing episodes that revolve the series mythology. In the series, their are various alien races, including the Ancients and the Ori. The Ancients and the Ori were once the same race, but due to a philosophical difference after they evolved and ascended to a higher plane of existence (the Ori believe they are Gods), are now enemies.

The Ori HAD been in a different galaxy, and the Ancients in our Milky Way. The Ori have now established their forces in our galaxy and are in the process of conquering the planets they find. Stargate SG-1 is attempting to stop them.

It's an interesting series, with quality production values, and some terrific actors.

Enjoy!
