Spinning/tilting discs?

I've been searching all over, and still haven't found a name for these decorations... They consist of two discs that seem to tilt/spin with the disc always touching on two points. http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/921/spinqk2.jpg is a photo from an old Dr. Who which should give an idea what I'm talking about. Anyone know what they're called?

I know exactly what you mean Bananatron, they are sometimes seen in jewelers windows. But I've no idea what they are called.

Seen them, also don't know the name. But the fact that so many people have seen them should help!
