Adventure Books has upgraded the pay rates for our magazine and registered our new information with Duotrope and the other market monitors. We also have some additional information.

Our yearly sci-fi print magazine, 'Escape Velocity,' now pays $10usd per story. See Escape Velocity Page for details and submission requirements. Recently, Geoff Nelder of Chester, Great Britain, has come on board as co-editor.

Authors or aspiring authors may have their short story illustrated and appear at no charge on our Free Fiction page. Stories remain viewable for about three months, and are replaced in the order they were originally posted. This is good coverage for new writers, as many people visit this page. Submission details on the page shown. Our most recent post there is 'The Prettiest Star' by British author Jaine Fenn. Usually, five or six stories appear on this page at a time.

If you have a small press book out there already, we will review it ON VIDEO, where you can link to it from your own site. See Book Reviews for full details.
