Yeah, I was noticing the cute message when I logged in reminding me that I had not posted in a while...
I've been busy...
Really. I have been working on getting a couple of projects finished up and out of the way. And I am in Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy mode at the moment, because I have just learned that I am to be listed in Contemporary Authors.
This is really cool. As a librarian, I see it as a sort of "mark of fame" in a way. People use that collection of volumes for doing reports on their favorite writers. Now some harried teen can pick ME for a book report.
Right...
But it is cool news.
In other cool news, the artist known as John Kevin Hopkins has completed the cover for my forthcoming YDP title The Lunari Mask. And I must say that I am Quite Pleased with his Piratey Cover.
Meanwhile, Dark Regions Press (Dark Regions Press Horror Fantasy and Science Fiction) is taking orders for my short story collection Song of Silver. It also has a nifty cover.
Finally, I am monitoring the presales to libraries of my forthcoming paranormal mystery novel Bad Lands (with Selina Rosen), and am pleased with what I see.
Reminds me of why I do this.
