Knivesout no more
Tor is finally entering the graphic novel market with The Book of Ballads, a collection of short-story adaptations of English, Irish and Scottish folk ballads by writers like Neil Gaiman, Charles de Lint and Jane Yolen, further adapted into comic form by illustrator Charles Vess (Sandman, Stardust) and originally published by Vess' own Green Man Press.
Initial reviews are very positive, and the project seems to bring together a high level of talent, creativity and production values to this subject matter.
Released in October 2004, this is a fairly pricey buy, but seems worthwhile. Has anyone else heard of this book/read it?
