I do not pretend to know anything about Star Trek, but can anyone tell me. In one episode of Next Generation, Picard is sat in his quarters listening to a cetain classical music track, i think its Mozart but really want to find this out as this music really lifts my spirit! :)

There is actually a lot of classical music in Star Trek, and in TNG in particular. You would need to narrow it down to an episode for me to identify it.

Possibly it's TNG: "Lessons" when Nella Darren plays the piano, or Data playing the violin in various episodes including TNG: "Inheritance", or TNG: "The Inner Light" when Picard learns the flute.

I did a google search and came up with these that are specifically Mozart (though still none are Picard listening alone in his room):
Vulcan Ambassador Sarek and his wife, Perrin, were fond of Mozart's music, as both attended a concert performed aboard the Enterprise-D in 2366. (TNG: "Sarek")

Oddly enough, one of the pieces at the recital was actually by Johannes Brahms.

In 2368, Data listened to Mozart's "Jupiter" symphony in C major in order to analyze its aesthetics. (TNG: "A Matter of Time")

Captain Picard enjoyed performing chamber works by Mozart on his Ressikan flute. His Picard Mozart trio featured the addition of his flute composition to a previous Mozart work. (TNG: "A Fistful of Datas")

Thanks very much for taking the time to research and reply, i know i was a bit vague and will try to find out more detail to narrow down the search! I remember that Picard was in uniform around the area of a ladder, and am sure was near his quarters.

Thanks again

Kath
