I was wondering what are your favourite quotes from the last 2 and a bit series of Doctor Who.

My fave was when the Daleks were floating above Central park wanting to exterminate everyone in sight, when they received a command not to destroy anyone. This was followed by one Dalek saying "I can't - the urge to kill is too strong". Made me laugh as I often think that when my kids are being their normal charming selves :) :D

From 29.10: Blink

Kathy Nightingale: "Sparrow and Nightingale" - that so works
Sally Sparrow: Bit ITV...

The Doctor: The only psychopaths in the universe to kill you nicely... zap you into the past and let you live to death

Larry Nightingale: You live in Scooby Doo's house!

Martha: Trust me - just nod when he stops for breath

There are some fantastic quotes in the episode 'The time of Angels' which I just re-watched

"It's boring now. They're boringers. They're blue boringers."

"I love that noise. That's a brilliant noise."

"A needle that looks like hay. A haylike needle of death. A haylike needle of death in a haystack of... statues. No, yours is fine."

How can you just come up with one quote?

Doctor Who just rattles along with them:

The Doctor: What am I missing?
Sardick: Get out! Get out of this house!
The Doctor: The chairs. Of course, the chairs. Stupid me. The chairs.
Sardick: Chairs?
The Doctor: There's a portrait on the wall behind me. Looks like you but it's too old so it's your father. All the chair are angled away from it. Daddy's been dead for twenty years, but you still can't get comfortable where he can see you. There's a Christmas tree in the painting, but none in this house on Christmas Eve. You're scared of him and you're scared of being like him and good for you, you're not like him, not really. Do you know why?
Sardick: Why?
The Doctor: Because you didn't hit the boy. Merry Christmas, Mr. Sardick.
Sardick: I despise Christmas!
The Doctor: You shouldn't. It's very you.
Sardick: It's what? What do you mean?
The Doctor: Halfway out of the dark.

Has to be a favourite and from original Who:

You may be a Doctor, but I'm the Doctor. The definite article, you might say

I couldn't resist adding a couple more favourites.

From Blink (possibly the best episode ever):
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

Tracked you down with this. This is my timey-wimey detector. It goes ding when there's stuff. Also, it can boil an egg at 30 paces, whether you want it to or not, actually, so I've learned to stay away from hens. It's not pretty when they blow.

Yeah, listen, listen, got to dash... things happening. Well... four things. Well... four things and a lizard.

and from "Time Crash", a children in need special

Look at you! The hat, the coat, the crickety cricket stuff, the... stick of celery... yeah. Brave choice, celery. But fair play to you, not a lot of men can carry off a decorative vegetable.

Oh no... of course... you mostly went hands-free, didn't you? Like "Hey, I'm the Doctor! I can save the universe with a kettle and some string and look at me! I'm wearing a vegetable!"

Listen to me. I'm you... I'm you with a new face! Check out this bone structure, Doctor, because one day you're going to be shaving it!

Have you ever thought what it's like to be wanderers in the fourth dimension? Have you?... to be exiles? Susan and I are cut off from our own planet, without friends or protection. But one day we shall get back. Yes, one day. One day.

We are not of this race. We are not of this earth. Susan and I are wanderers in the fourth dimension of space and time, cut off from our own people by distances beyond the reach of your most advanced science.

Ah, I need to see some more William Hartnell. What I've seen has been good.

A good one I came across the other day while re-watching 'Vampires of Venice' was

"No it wouldn't work. I'm a Time Lord and you're.....a big fish."
