Silly Author Person
This month started with a Whoosh-Bang! We broke a record for number of patrons in a week at the library where I work, and it has been madhouse nonstop ever since.
Additionally, I am teaching a writing course called "So You Want To Be A Writer" in conjunction with our summer programs. Session one was basically a "Why in the heck do you want to do this to yourself?" sorta session where I reminded people that they might never get rich or famous, fed the writing statistics, and then talked about the nuts and bolts of getting started.
They took it well, and I have actually had a couple more people to sign up for the course.
In the meantime, my nose is back to the writing grindstone. I have lovely, lovely copies in hand of my newest book Song of Silver from Dark Regions Press. Fans of Anwyn and Glynnanis should be pleased, as there is a novella in this small collection of eight tales, two reprints and the rest originals.
And I am rewriting my Anwyn and Glynnanis novel. I think it is time to get them up and running into the hands of a publisher by the end of summer.
Plus, it keeps me from fretting about the projects already in editorial hands that I am waiting to hear something on.
And Bad Lands should be coming out by the end of this month, so I have another novel to start promoting.
Are we having fun yet?
We think so...
