In a couple of related notes, we've just reached agreement with PJF to publish another collection next year. Venus on the Half Shell and Others will collect the best of Phil's "fictional author" stories, including the title novel, "written" by Kurt Vonnegut's hack sf alter-ego, Kilgore Trout.

Good to see something coming from PJF again, even if it isn't new work... time there was a revival of interest there, I think....

Out of that list? I think I'd pick The Lovers first, myself, followed by Night of Light. Inside-Outside is an interesting, if somewhat weak, piece, but should probably come toward the end of the list. Tongues of the Moon is a good quick read, too. The Day of the Timestop I'm more familiar with as A Woman a Day... interesting, but not one of his best, I'd say....

I may be late on this topic, but i would recommend The Lovers, one of my favorite sci-fi ever. A great story, way ahead of its time.
