Help finding a title.

This is going to be hopeless, but I'll ask anyways. I saw a new hardcover children/teen book in early June on a B.Dalton new release table that looked like some boy on an adventure, and right on the front cover was a big quote from Orson Scott Card basically saying "this new book and character is amazing, and I wish it would become a series so I could read about his adventures every year." Does anyone have a clue what this book is? That's all the info I know, and it's not on B&N's new release table anymore and it's driving me nuts! All I remember is OSC's quote.

I know I could not be more vague, but maybe someone remembers seeing this. Thanks for any help!
