Just curious, which characters are you guys most looking forward to either meeting or reuniting?

I have a few:
Arya and Nymeria
Jon and Arya
Jon and Zombie Catelyn (or at least I HOPE they meet!)

(Arya isn't even one of my favorites, but she has a lot of potential)

Wow, I never even thought of that! I can't believe that Arya would ever kill Jon, though...maybe she'd double cross the people who sent her? Although it's fun to speculate who would want Jon dead. Since only Howland Reed knows he's a Targaryen (if he's a Targaryen) it would have to be somebody who didn't want as Stark as Lord Commander. The Lannisters have too much to deal with (also, Cersei isn't smart enough to hire good assassins); maybe the Greyjoys?

Oh, and also - Dany and Jaime. I can imagine she'd have much to say to the Kingslayer. Although I don't know if they'll ever meet; Jaime's days feel very numbered.

Jon and Stoneheart would be very interesting indeed.

To add to the list:

-Arya and Sansa (even if Arya ends up killing her...)
-Arya and Littlefinger (when she kills him too...)
-Arya and Jaqen (in her new role as assasin)
-Sansa and The Hound (I'm waiting to hear the EWWWW....'s)
-Tyrion and Cersei (unless Jaime kills her before Tyrion has the chance to)
-Dany and Jorah (they may be on opposing sides by that point)
-Jon and Sam (in his new role as Maester)
-Asha and Theon (they're last meeting was somewhat humbling for Theon)
-Loras and Marg (can she look past the burns)
-and of course not really a reunion but a meeting assured in ADWD that may alter the course of the storyline: Tyrion and Dany

Breinne and Arya (assuming they are both alive)

Breinne: Don't worry little girl I am here to save you!!!!!

Arya: uhhh ok.....but who said I need saving, I am a freakin trained killer lady

Tyrion and Jaime. Will they try to kill each other? Will they find forgiveness? Will they try to understand the other and see the potential for redemption?

Littlefinger and Lysa. I want to see the bad man fly.

Lysa and little Lord Robert. Bye, bye birdie.

Sansa and Sandor. TK nailed this one. At first, she was the innocent and he was the jaded monster... next time they meet, he'll be the redeemed, pious, and merciful man (possibly) while she's the spiteful avenging angel.

Jaqen and Arya.
Arya: I've been waiting for you, Jaqen. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master.
Jaqen: Only a master of evil, Weasel.

Barristan and Jaime. BFS!

A Targaryen and The Iron Throne. They were made for each other.

The King of the Ironborn and a Dragon. The Crow's Eye might have the only defense against dragons... then again, he might not. "Dracarys!" Doh!

Bran and Jon, possibly Benjen Stark. The war in the North will be the most important event in the books. (IMO) Jon and Bran are the two best weapons the westetos has against the Others. at least until Dany arrives. "To go south you must go north"

But seriously, I'm most looking forward to Tyrion and Jon hooking back up at the Wall to fend off the Others. I've never seen this thrown about, but I think Tyrion 'taking the black' is a real possibility. We know the vows are not kept quite as sacrosanct as they used to be, so whoring wouldn't be a real problem for Tyrion. In fact, he may be a bit sick of the ladies and the problems they have presented him. Anyway, I think this is a good a place as any for our favorite character to reappear. In fact, I think it's the most likely spot for Tyrion to be.

Edit: I don't mean to say by taking the black Tyrion will be absolved of allegations against him, but rather, it's the most likely place he will show up in the next book.

CM, Tywin and Kevan gave Tyrion this option as a plea bargain in his regicide trial. He opted out. He knows Cersei's reach is long... she was planning on killing Jon, the Lord Commander on the Wall, and she doesn't even hate him like she hates Tyrion... no, Tyrion's not bound for the Wall, yet. I must tell you that a sample chapter for Tyrion was on GRRM's site a while back... he was not on the Wall.

But does Tyrion have a destiny to fulfill against The Other? It's possible... even probable if you subscribe to certain theories.

Who will be the one(s) to stand against The Other? Melissandre says it will be Azor Ahai reborn. She thinks Stannis is AA, but we know Stannis could not withstand the fire nor is his blade made of fire. Dany can stand fire. Rhaegar knew some prophecy needed to be fulfilled with The Prince That Was Promised. Rhaegar assumed TPTWP to be either his son Aegon or perhaps his ******* son, Jon Snow. Just before his death, Maester Aemon reinterpreted TPTWP to be Danaerys. It seems the main contenders to defeat The Other are AA and TPTWP. All the real contenders to be AA or TPTWP are Targaryens... Jon and Dany.

If you look through pages of thread names in these forums, you'll find some about crackpot theories and such. My pet theory is that Tyrion is a Targaryen ******* and not the trueborn son of Tywin Lannister. Thus, I think Tyrion may be as strong a candidate as Dany and Jon to defeat The Other.

How about Jon and Benjen.

(puts helmet on and ducks)

But that would make me very happy.

This :D is
Jaqen and Arya.
Arya: I've been waiting for you, Jaqen. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master.
Jaqen: Only a master of evil, Weasel.
the funniest thing :D I've seen all day

Zombie Catelyn and Cersie
Zombie Cateyln and Brienne
Zombie Catelyn and Melissandre

I sense a pattern developing...

C of K, I try.

I am waiting for another Targaryen family reunion. We already had one at Castle Black. Aemon, Jon, and Tyrion. The next one will be Dany and Tyrion. The big one will be the Dany and Jon reunion. And importanly, don't forget that Baby Aegon will be reunited with his brother, aunt and uncle some day.

I myself am a semi-believer of R+L=J but we really don't know anything yet, so don't be so hasty to include Jon. I find that I kind of hope he is Ned's ******* just because I would like to think there was a side of Ned no one else had the chance to see. The passionate, reckless side that would have gotten a ******* child.
