Something about that paragraph freaks me out. I mean, custom made bacterium! Thats a freaking sci fi movie right there......zombies!

Anyways, I think it is an amazing break in science, but as with all great breaks should be monitored very closely. I think there is a lot that can be done with synthetic bacterium.
